PLEASE NOTE:
Tuition is based on 44 weeks of training and is divided into ten equal payments. Tuition is paid in advance and due BEFORE the 1st of each month, i.e. the last week of previous month. A late fee of $10.00 is due after the 1st of each month & will be deducted from the students prepay account which must then be brought up to date before the next months tuition is due. There are no refunds or prorated credits for missed classes, no exceptions. Missed classes must be made-up within child’s level within 30 days, after which time the missed classes will be non redeemable. There is a $20.00 service fee for all returned checks. Dropped students may re-enter a class only after fully re-registering, provided there is still space available.Spotlight is not liable for any injury sustained during classes or at the school nor is Spotlight responsible for any lost or stolen items.

-  A “Lasts Months Prepaid Tuition” in the amount equal to the value of your child’s monthly tuition
   which translated into $______________ is required when registering your child at Spotlight Dance
   Center.  Total due upon registration includes: Registration fee amount; First & last months tuition.

-  If you have an outstanding balance due on your account, any monies due, such as late fees, will be
   deducted from your “Lasts Months Prepaid Tuition” account.  It will be your responsibility to pay
   any difference should one occur.

-  When a 4 week drop notice is received in writing by Spotlight Dance Center and your monthly tuition
   account is currently showing a zero balance, the “Lasts Months Prepaid Tuition” will be applied
   towards your child’s final our weeks attending. Spotlight Dance Center will only do so provided the
   proper advanced 4 weeks notice has been given and there is no balance due on your account.

-  If your child is dropping and you do not provide us with a 4 week prior notice drop form, the “Lasts
   Months Tuition Deposit ” amount will NOT be reimbursed;  No Exceptions.

-  If any student misses class for 4 consecutive weeks, and no tuition has been paid in regards to those
   classes, Spotlight Dance Center will regard this as a drop without notice and will apply the “Lasts
   Months Prepaid Tuition” amount stated above to the classes in which your child has occupied a
   space.  That student is then officially dropped from all classes.

-  Once dropped from classes, one must completely re-register to re-enter classes, provided there is still
   space available.  (This means if you are re-registering, you must now pay the registration fee, the lasts
   months Prepaid tuition amount  and the tuition for that month.)

Studio Codes, Rules & Regulations:

• A $10.00 late fee charge will be due with tuition after the 1st of each month.
• You may mail tuition checks prior to the 1st:  7751 KingsPointe Parkway, Unit 101, Orlando, FL  32819
• Students missing classes for one month without tuition payment will be dropped from the class and must re-register, including registration fee, to re-enter the class if there is space available.
• Class sizes for younger students are limited. Additional children will be put on a waiting list.
• All students are to arrive on time to all classes.  Excessive tardiness is not acceptable.  Any student arriving over 15 minutes late to class may be asked to observe the class for that day.
• Hair must be up in a tight bun for all ballet classes levels IV & V. (A ponytail is acceptable for levels I & II & III)  Scrunchy buns without hairpins are not acceptable!
• No T-shirts, shorts, biker shorts, sweat pants, etc. permitted in ballet or jazz classes.
• No necklaces, bracelets, long earrings or watches permitted in class.
• Remember to label all dance shoes, bags, leotards, sneakers, etc.  Especially recital costume parts!
• Lost and found items can be found in the dressing rooms.
• Spotlight is not responsible for lost or stolen items; Personal dance bags are recommended.
• Ballet Slippers  - All draw strings must be knotted and cut 1 inch long.  These strings should then be tucked into the ballet slippers before each class.  This applies for all levels of ballet.
• Students may not enter the studios until their teacher is present & in the room with them.
• Students must keep their hands to themselves.  No touching, hitting or pushing is allowed.
• No excessive talking during class. Students must be respectful of  all teachers at all times.
• Students who repeatedly disrupt the class will be asked to leave or drop the class.
• No gum chewing or candy allowed in any class at any time!
• Drink time is limited to the break given by each teacher about 30 minutes into the class. No open drinks allowed
• Please remember to use the rest rooms before or after class whenever possible.
• Viewing days are limited to the first week full week of each month, otherwise blinds will be completely closed.
• Video taping of classes is not permitted.
• When making-up a class, please fill out a make-up slip and give it to the teacher of the class you are visiting.
• When changing or dropping a class, please fill out the add/drop form located at the front desk.
• Please label all personal items including your dance shoes, leotards, and bags.
• Spotlight Dance Center is not responsible for any lost or stolen items.

TUITION INFORMATION FOR MISSES CLASSES

• ALL MISSED CLASSES MUST BE MAKED UP WITHIN 30 DAYS OF THE MISSED CLASS DATE.
• Missed classes should be made-up as soon as possible.  Remember consistency is the key to growth as well as an excellent discipline to acquire.
• Missed company classes may NOT be made up.  All company classes are mandatory!
• Missed classes may not be deducted or prorated from monthly tuition payments. No exceptions.
• Teenagers may NOT make up classes in the adult open classes!
• It is required that all hip-hop students purchase dance sneakers for class.  These dance sneakers are made especially for dancing  and are recommended for usage with marley, non slip flooring such as the rooms 2, 3, and 4.  The stage at the convention center also has marley flooring. Street sneakers are tougher shoes that don’t give or glide on marley, a non slip dance floor, and are therefore harder to dance & turn in, torking the knees.  Street shoes are also sandy and dirty leaving dirt where your child will be sitting & stretching.
• No running or loud talking either in the studio’s or in the lobby, by students, visitors or siblings.
• Parents, family members and friends are welcome to sit quietly in our lobby at any time.  So as not to distract the dancers in class, while waiting in the lobby please keep all little children quite and still.  There is no running, playing, or loud screaming allowed in the lobby.
