PIANO LESSONS Private Piano Lessons Beginners - Advance Ages 5 - Adults Introducing Piano Instructor: Janice Martin  Janice grew up in a piano teacher's home and started playing at the age of 3 1/2. She performed regularly in student recitals and festivals, and went on to perform her senior recital in the Edsel and Eleanor Ford House in Grosse Pointe, Michigan. She received a Bachelor of Arts in Music degree for piano from Oakland University in Rochester, Michigan. There she had the amazing opportunity to study under the Artist in Residence, Flavio Varani, a very flamboyant Brazilian pianist. She also attended the International Chamber Music Festival in Marktoberdorf, Germany, performing a Mozart piano trio. She soon discovered the joys of teaching others to play piano and sharing her passion for it. Janice has 20 years of teaching experience of hundreds of students. Over the years she has also utilized her musical talents within her church community by directing children's choirs and Christmas musicals, playing the piano and keyboard on various church worship teams, as well as leading the singing from her keyboard for various women's ministries Cost for 1/2 hour
